Calligraphy by Nancy has worked with clients worldwide for the past 18 years. The studio is in Baltimore, Maryland USA, and her portfolio is available to view in person by appointment only.

All inquires will be sent a hand-done, personalized sample if requested, and a mailing address is provided. The personalized sample is the most popular calligraphic font chosen by previous clientele. If you would like a specific font style sample, or a computerized font match, please submit its name and one will be provided.

Prices do not include specific ink colors or materials. There is no extra charge for black ink.

Table Seating Lists		$150.00-$300.00 per chart (based on final size and number of names on list).
Family Tree (Fill-ins or creating an original)*		$150.00 (minimum) , based on characters of text.
Wedding/Ceremony Programs (4 panel)		$150.00 - $300.00, based on characters of text and detail. This price is for one original program. Printing of copies is an extra cost.
Monogram (on Wedding Aisle Runner)*		$250.00 (minimum) per runner. Runner must be supplied by client.
Hand-done Invitations (one sided)		$10.00 - $40.00 per invitation, based on text amount and size of stock. Printing of copies is an extra cost.
Certificates		Fill-In Only: Minimum $30.00 each, based on amount of text required to fill in.* Original certificates rates are per-project quoted.
Menus/Poetry/Speech/Lyrics and other Documents		Minimum of $40.00 each - priced per-project's detail. Printing of copies is an extra cost.
Photo Album text/captions *		Minimum of $20.00 per page for basic text.

*Hand-done calligraphy work only.

**Each envelope and place card project must be supplied with at least 10% extra materials in the event of changes and/or mistakes at the cost of the client.

Paper Stock can be provided at an additional charge or must be supplied by the client. If colored ink is requested, it is an additional $6.00 charge per project, if the color can be matched per request.

Normal Turnaround time is 5-7 days; please inquire if your project would be completed in this timeframe.

RUSH Service (projects completed in less than 5 days) is available. All rates are quoted for this service and full payment is due when project begins.

Projects do not begin until all materials, deposit/payment, supporting text is received and an Order Form is filled out, signed and returned.

Saturday - Sunday, 12-3 p.m. EST

Please see the NEWS section of this website for current and upcoming studio closing dates. Any projects received directly before an extended studio closure will be completed while the studio is closed or start when the studio re-opens, based on the client's need for completion and my availability.

For a quote, to receive a hand-done sample, schedule a studio appointment, and/or to view portfolio and references in person, please call or email anytime.

Prices do not include shipping fees, which are the financial responsibility of the client, and should be pre-paid. I can accept/return your materials/final project via local messenger service, USPS, Federal Express or UPS.

Projects, such as lists, text, imagery, can be emailed for review and usage. Please email them as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and/or JPEG image attachments with your email.

All verbal and written confirmations to use the services of Calligraphy by Nancy are suggested to provide a $30 non-refundable/non-applicable Hold Fee at the time of your confirmation. This fee is optional, but if submitted, insures the client's appointment and start date of the project and your project takes priority over those who do not submit this Fee. This fee does not go towards the cost of the project. If you cancel your appointment/shipping of materials and do not re-schedule after this Fee has been received, this Fee will not be refunded. Calligraphy by Nancy only takes on 1-2 projects per week and schedules most projects at least 2 weeks to one year ahead, so this Fee guarantees availability whenever the client is ready to submit the materials. A 50% depsoit will also Hold your project in the time slot desired, but is only refundable with documentation that the event has been cancelled, but the deposit is transferrable for abnother project at a later date.

When shipping materials or dropping them off on your appointment, a minimum of 50% deposit or full payment is due at the time of appointment or shipment of materials. Cash (for only in-person appointments),Checks and Money Orders only are accepted. Rates above or quotes do not include shipping fees, which are the financial responsibility of the client, and should be pre-paid. Any balance due at the time of completion of the project is due prior to return shipping or when picked up at studio.
